Charar-e-Sharief, Jul 21 (KNO): In the death of Imran Yousuf Wani from Monu village of Charar-e-Sharif in Central Kashmir's Budgam district, his family has lost their lone bread earner and their hopes are on the government's support now. Hundreds of people have been visiting Imran's residence along Pakherpora- Charar-e-Sharief road in Monu village surrounded by forest on all sides where pall of gloom has descended. As per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Imran Yousuf Wani (22), who was engaged as a casual labourer in forest department in 2014, was killed after a naka party of forest department was fired upon by unknown gunmen on Wednesday (July 19). Belonging to a very poor family, Imran has left behind parents and sister while his one brother is living separately and the other sister is married. His father is handicapped and in order to manage family affairs Imran used to work as Sumo driver whenever he used to get time, his relatives said. They said that Wani was a very hardworking guy who was taking care of his ailing parents very well but in Imran they have lost their world. They said that living without him for the whole family will be distressful as they don't have any other source of income. Locals along with relatives of victims demanded that the government must help the poor family on priority basis by providing them a job and financial help. “We are hopeful that LG lead administration will rehabilitate them on priority so that families can live a peaceful life,” they said. Meanwhile an official of the department said that they will take possible steps to help the family so that they can get a job and financial help. He said that employees of the division have decided to donate one day's salary in favor of Imran's family—(KNO)
